MY PRAYER ALTAR

1 Thess 5:17

17 Pray without ceasing.

Prayer is a major anchor of spirituality but usually taken lightly most times.

Our anchor scripture for the day says "Pray without ceasing." That is a non-stop praying attitude. The Prayer Altar is very important and the act of Prayer must be a habitual and continuous practice and not an occasional practice.

Prayer is a force that produces fire to devour obstacles, barriers, and empowers the saints who engage in it to operate the Supernatural.

Lev. 6:12-13 - 

12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

KJV  

 The Prayer fire shall be kept burning on the altar, it shall not be put out. The priest (i.e. you and I according to 1 Pet. 2:3 - we are all Royal Priesthood) Shall burn the wood every morning. 

Vs 13 - 

13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

You need a prayer altar, I am not talking about the prayer altar of the church, your personal Prayer Altar where you burn the wood daily, whose fire most not to go out.

Beloved prayer is necessary, your progress in your physical and spiritual life depends on your prayer life and the personal prayer altar you build.

WHY MUST I HAVE A PRAYER ALTAR (ADVANTAGES)

1. Prayer is a doorway to the world of the Supernatural. Acts 3:1-7
2. Prayer is a principal tool to nullify the Devil's agenda against your life. Matt. 17:21
3. Prayer brings you to a closer walk with God. Takes away carnality, makes you more spiritual thereby giving you access to God's plan and agenda for your life. 1 Corinth. 2:8-10

HOW TO BUILD MY PRAYER ALTAR

1. Maintain a lifestyle of consistent prayer.
2. Maintain a lifestyle of integrity and godliness.
3. Give priority attention to supplication and intercession.
4. Always ask for the spirit of grace and supplication. Zech. 12:10

CONFESSION

LET THE FIRE OF REVIVAL FALL UPON MY LIFE. MY PRAYER ENGINE RECEIVE FIRE IN JESUS NAME.

PRAYER

Oh Lord, I ask in the name of Jesus, baptize me with the Spirit of Grace and Supplication in Jesus Name.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I decree a fresh baptism of the Spirit of Grace and Supplication upon your life and I ask for the zeal of the Lord to consume you in Jesus name.
