DIVINE INVOLVEMENT PT 2
Mark 10:2727 But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible."NKJV
From our study yesterday we understood that Divine Involvement is involving Divinity on the scene where Humanity has exhausted its expertise to get a result called a miracle.
Luke 5:1-101 And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

The story of Peter the Fisherman. An expert in his field of trade exercised all the necessary avenues and techniques over the years but came out with nothing. They had already given up, they had left the boats and were washing their nets when Jesus the Divine came on the scene. When he stepped in, lack stepped out, failure stepped out, struggling without nothing to show stepped out.
HOW DID HE (PETER) INVOLVE DIVINITY
- He allowed Him in his boat. vs 3
- He was in the multitude in the boat listening to what Jesus the Divine had to say. vs 4
- He obeyed the instructions of Jesus the Divine and took steps.
INVOLVING DIVINITY IN MY SITUATION
- I must allow Jesus into my boat (Family, Business, Ministry, and Present Situation).
- I must listen to God's word regularly and daily partake of the balanced meal.
- I must obey God's word - Peter did not say
- We are experienced fishermen, fishing is only at night.
- We have already tried, we have exhausted all our techniques.
- We have concluded, it is not possible so we have washed our nets and closed.
Father, I ask that you help me to obey your word today in the Name of Jesus.
Prophetic Utterance
I decree that in the Name of Jesus, everywhere you have lost hope, the Lord will step in and give you a miracle today in Jesus Name.
